The beach villa
Feel at home in this 170 sqm cottage for maximum 5 persons. It´s a no-smoking house for people without pets and it´s just 600m from the best part of Mellbystrand beach. The house is quietly located but central and only a few hundred meters from the best part of the beach with Strandhotell and restaurants, beauty salon and more.
There are not as many houses which are as big and as close to the beach, so please book early! This house is rented out by the week and bookings are always made from Saturday to Saturday. It´s even suited for people who want to live here longer than one or 2 weeks and do home-office from here, because the house has a fiber connection and is completey equipped. Feel at home in one of the first summer-houses on this beach which still seems to be from the times of Astrid Lindgren. 170 sqm on 2 floors, large living-room with a library and satellite TV, fiber connection, 3 bedrooms (one with double bed and garden view, one with queen bed and big balcony and one with two single beds with a small balcony).
Fully equipped kitchen with stove/oven, sink, dishwasher, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, blender, toaster, coffee maker and the most important kitchen appliances. Cellar with washing machine, heating elements in living room and bedrooms, toilet, a large shower which you entre from the living room (unfortunately the architecture of the house didn´t allow a whole bathroom).
Large garden with old trees, lawn for playing and barbecue, garden furniture, hammock, basketball hoop. There is another house on the property (which you see on this homepage, it´s called cottage), but this won´t disturb you because the whole property is 1.400 sqm big. You can even rent both houses together if you want to come with some friends. You bring your bed linen and towels and do a thorough final cleaning yourself.
The beach: In just a few minutes you walk to the best part of the 13km long sandy beach. This beach has the so-called “Blue Flag” and the water quality is excellent. It´s safe for children as the water is shallow at the edge. Protective dunes for sunbathing and playing.
Only 300 metres to the famous cycle path called Kattegattleden (which leads totally 370 km along the Coast) and only 300m to the jogging- and hiking-trails in the woods. Go fishing at the salmon river only 2km away and prepare the fish right there at the barbecue area at the river. Shopping-centre in 3km, doctor´s surgery in 3 km. Endless possibilities for excursions: go-kart, steamboat on the river, downhill-riding, summer totogganing, windsurfing, kitesurfing, moose park, climbing hall, cinema, theatre, flight museum, railway museum, bowling, tropikarium and much more. Before your arrival, I send you a detailed holiday information with many tips for a successful holiday. You bring your own linen and sheets and make a final cleaning yourself.

Amenities
Outside you’ll find two terraces around the house and a large garden with some furniture for enjoying a meal outside, there is also a grill you can use. Since we have very large plots at Mellbystrand (1400sqm), there is plenty of space. The garden is shared with the house next door where either the owner or other tenants live.
Additionally, you can park the car directly on the plot.
There are many recreational opportunities nearby: cycling, jogging, hiking, playing tennis (500m) or golf on one of many golf courses, go-kart track, horse riding, surfing, skate park, Sommerrodel.
It is 200m to restaurants, barber shop, beauty salon, and massage saloon, 200m to the bus stop, 3km to the motorway, 5km to the railway station, 6km to a lake, and 150km to Copenhagen airport and 180 m to Gothenburg.
