The cottage
Feel at home in this 65 sqm cottage just 600m from the best part of Mellbystrand beach. The house is quietly located yet central and only a few hundred meters from the best part of the beach.
This non-smoker-house is perfect for a family of 4 people without pets. You can rent the house wekkly from Saturday to Saturday or even for a longer term (perfect for homeworkers too, because it has fiberglass). If you want to come during the high season in summer, we recommend an early booking. There is a big living-room with an American kitchen, satellite-television, chimney with a glass-door for romantic evenings in spring or fall. 2 bedrooms with a double bed each (one is even 2.20 m wide). In the kitchen, there is a dish-washer, refridgerator with freezer, oven with stove, microwave and everything you need for a perfect holiday. In the bathroom you find a shower, toilet, sink and washing-machine.
Two terraces with garden furniture, barbecue, parking on the lot. The garden is 1.400 square metres big and you share it either with the owner (I live in the house next door) or with other nice guests in case the owner is not there. In the garden you find a hammock and a basketball-basket.
The 13km long sandy beach is perfect for children, because the water is not deep. If there should be a windy day, you can lie in the dunes. In only some minutes you reach the beach by foot and don´t have to search a parking place. In only 300 metres you reach restaurants, beauty-salon and more. The salmon river is only 2km away, you can go fishing there or hire a boat on the sea or one of the lakes. If you don´t want to bring your own bike, you can even rent bikes. 4km to the big shopping-centre where you can check the Swedish fashion and where you find pharmacy and more shops.
There are many recreational possibilities nearby: in 300m you reach the famous cycle path Kattegattleden which goes 370 km along the coast, in 200 m you get to the jogging paths in the wood. You can go hiking on the famous hiking path Hallandsleden, in 500m there is a tennis courts. And for the golfers there are many golf-courses in this region of which some have even winter green, surfing, skatepark, summer rodel and horseback-riding. All the year around, there is always something going on in one of the towns nearby. Before your arrival, I send you a detailed information with many tips for a successfull holiday. And the hang-out spot, the famous Strandhotell is only 300 metres from the cottage away. You bring your own sheets and towels and do the final cleaning yourself.

In case you don´t want to bring your own linen and towels and don´t want to do the final cleaning, you can book between the 4th of may and 1st of june and you can book this paying 100 euros extra.
